Google Reader is said to be the most readed and popular Rss reader in the world.If you are using this reader then you might be getting sad because google has decided to close down google reader on July 1,2013.Google will be pulling plugs on the 7 year old project "declining usage".The excuse given by google for closing this service is that it is cleaning some service off or shutting down as the part of company's "Spring cleaning".By using this way this will help google to focus on those features that needs the most use.As most of the bloggers mostly rely on google reader for getting the newses those mostly interests them.Now the challenge for those bloggers will be move to a good system that can replace google reader and is also in good in functions.More than 10,000 users signed a petition to get Google to reinstate changes to no avail.
With google reader google is also shutting down more apps like CalDAV Api and also ending support for Google voice for Blackberry. Still google reader is not going to close today it will be getting closed on 1 July 2013.Users can take their data out of Google reader or any other service by google takeout service or the OMPL Export within google reader itself.From more than last 18 months most Rss softwares and devlopers are relying too much on google reader .THe end of google reader will effect most of the thrid party apps that releys on google reader for sync and subscriptions.Back in 2011 Google revamped the service to integrate google reader to Google + .But at the same time google removed a big number of features that were long standing.
So most of you will be upset at the shutting down of google reader as i am.So dont forget to tell me your views about this desicion of google reader.
